Hi gameranimevixen and Jason Smith!

You may want to take a look at pennfoster.edu and dial down into the two programs and click to open "Curriculum Details" to see if there is any coursework or classes that are similar. We can do a pre-evaluation that takes a look at, and brings in any classes that can brought in for Transfer Credits; so you wouldn't have to take those classes over again.

Here are the two links to the two programs you mentioned Juanita:

Medical Administrative Assistant Program | Penn Foster Career School

Online Bachelor's Degree in Business Management | Penn Foster College

Here are the two links to the two programs you mentioned Jason:

Online Electronics Technician Certification | Penn Foster Career School

Industrial Electronics Maintenance Technology - Associate Degree | Penn Foster College

Let me know if you have any additional questions!

This can also happen if you've just recently taken an exam, it can take 24-48 hours before the next exam becomes available.  There is helpful information available on exam issues at the following link:

The best thing to do is contact Student Care at the school especially because you are asking about transferring high school credits to college programs.

It is definitely scary to leave what you know behind, especially if you don't know anyone in the place you are going. I have done this a few times. At first it can be a little daunting trying to learn new cultures and the way people live in the place you have just arrived, but after a week or two I always seem to calm down a little, especially after making a few friends. The best part about it all is seeing a new way of life. It can be so interesting to eat new food, meet different people, see sights that may not exist in your country, etc. etc. Give it a little time and suddenly you will feel refreshed at the new life you are going to have.

I'm not quite sure if people can study abroad in this program.

When you purchase an asset (say an air ventilation system) does the debit amount include the tax amount, if not how would it be journalized and what amount (asset amount or asset amount plus taxes) would you start with for the schedule of depreciation?

I don't know how you can't take it before your recommended day, I  took all my exams before the date. in fact I suppose to finish on December. I already took all my exams, you go to MY COURSE, and click on start, click take a exam, and that is.

I was wondering if I have to finish paying off one semester before starting another one? Also, if you're semester expires before you complete it must you pay for an entire other semester?

Hi foreman3301,

If you've recently completed an exam, it may take 24-48 hours for the next one to become available.

I've taken all my exams before the recommended date, I'm very ahead because of it. I wouldn't see why you couldn't.

Re: Applying for college

Hi Katie. I'm not 100% sure about how long it would take, but I think you would have to wait to get a transcript until you complete the program. When I asked a representative he/she told me that I would have to wait till I complete the high school to get it. Also they charge you a fee for each college you send your transcript to. I believe it's $10 per college. You should ask your instructor or student care representative. Also, I recommend for you to call up all the colleges your interested in, to see if they accept a transcript/diploma from Penn Foster. Most of them will say yes, but to be safe just call up all the colleges you're interested in and ask. (You should probably make a list of all the colleges you want to attend along with their phone number and if they accept PF or not. If you want I could send you an example of the list.) Also don't forget to apply for the SAT or ACT, and keep your grades up! I hope this helped..... If you ever have any questions or need to talk just let me know! Good Luck!!
