Hello, Dawn!

If a student does not pass an assessment exam, they will be automatically placed in a brief, refresher course at no additional cost. There is no re-test available for the assessment, therefore, students must pass the refresher course in order to move forward to their college lessons. I encourage you to take your time and study the material so you will be prepared to take the exams on the refresher course.. if you are prepared you will do just fine!

You made wonderful progress when you first enrolled, and it is evident you have grasped the material beautifully thus far. I would be sad to see you leave the school. We certainly understand that "life" gets in the way of our plans all too often, and this is the primary reason why distance learning is ideal for busy students as you can study when it is convenient for you. I encourage you to try to set aside a little time each week, even if you can only spare one hour. Once you start chipping away a little here and there, you will start to see real progress. You are eligible to purchase a 6 month study time extension for a fee of $75.00. Please login to your student portal and then click on "make a payment" from the right hand column. Scroll down to the middle of the next screen where you will see the option to select "study time extension fee." You can make a payment right through your portal using a credit or debit card. If you have further questions please feel free to call Student Care 1-888-427-1000.
