American History does in fact have a textbook that you should receive in the mail. I'm sure Student CARE will resend your book when they read your inquiry.

Can't access exams.
Up until yesterday I had been waiting for my transfer credits to appear in my portal. They have done so. They are a bit sporadic but my next available class shows as American History. I have accessed all my study guides and book and read the assignments but yet I am still unable to access the first exam for the course. I thought perhaps it was because my transfer credits just went in yesterday, which was a Saturday, but I really don't know why. The first three classes were completed and gone through without incident. Please help. I would like to get going on the rest of my classes which I cannot do if I cannot access the exam.

It takes 24-48 hours for your courses to become available.
Check out Exam Issues FAQ.
Keep in mind that Penn Foster is closed on the weekends.

You'll get a transcript with your diploma but your tuition has to be paid off before those are sent. Another way is to ask Student CARE to send you a copy. I'm not sure it will be official, could be but its best to ask. And there's a fee to request transcripts.

Yes, your transfer credits will be affected if you took any exams from subjects you completed at your former high school. You won't receive transfer credits on those subjects.

just enrolled in the high school program with early college courses. I think I picked the wrong one. I wanted to do something with small engine repair or diesel mechanics. When we enrolled their was nothing that said high school with a concentration in small engine repair or diesel mechanics. Am I in the right high school program?
