No email reply received, no one answering phone calls at Penn Foster
I sent an email 6 days ago asking for clarification on the Research Paper for HRM355. I sent another followup email two days ago and still have not received ANY replies whatsoever.
Today I called both the admin office and the student care office at 4:50 MTN time. There was no answer at either place but the recording claims that business hours are until 5pm MTN time.
What kind of Customer Service is this? What does it take to get an answer to a simple question? Why can't anyone respond by email to this question?
This is an online course but every time I ask a question through email it takes several weeks to get a reply, if I get one at all.

Sorry you had been able to get your question asked or spoke to anyone. They close at 6 p.m. Which they are an hour ahead of us. So, if you called at 5 pm they were already closed. Try to contact them first thing in the morning.

Update: I called again this morning. It seems that the instructor for this course is on vacation... Will have to wait until Monday to get an answer. Everyone was very friendly and helpful on the phone.
Suggestion for Penn Foster: Would be nice to have an automated response email for instructors if they are on vacation so that students know when to expect a reply.

Your Writing Skills Assignment upon receipt will take 5 days exclude Sunday to be graded. If you plagiarise you will be graded 1.
It all depends upon the lecturer that corrects your paper.

Welcome letter wont open
The PDF file welcome letter wont open from the online pdf to my word processer. I have Microsoft word 2010 and haven't had an issue with anything else until starting college.. what to do, says I must read it! ( vet Tech)

Hello Brittany: I am sorry to hear that you have had some difficulty opening the "Welcome Letter". I accessed your student portal and had no problems when I clicked on the link to the "Welcome Letter". I see that you are using Microsoft Word to open the PDF files. Do you have Adobe Reader installed on your system? You may have more success if you try opening the "Letter" with Adobe Reader. You can download Adobe Acrobat Reader from a link on the "My Courses" tab on your portal.

Preach it Brother! If the company wants you, they will understand. And the Community Boards might not be the most appropriate place to request help. I check here first to see if some one has already asked. And then when in doubt, I make the toll free call to the Student help line. Most of the time - they can clear the path to a solution quickly.

Hello, Sabrina!
There is a fee which would have to be paid before we can change the elective. If it has not shipped yet, the fee is $10. If it has shipped, the fee is $40.
Once this fee is paid, you can e-mail the High School and ask them to change the elective from X to Y. The e-mail address is edserv@pennfoster.com.

Generally, it takes 7-10 days for a project to be graded, however, if you submitted your assignment during the weekend or holiday, there may be a slight delay as the projects are graded in the order they are received.
