You  can also print a copy of your grade history. It will show all the courses for your current semester and any grades for any completed courses. If you haven't completed any of your courses, you would not have a transcript record,  unless you had transfer credits. Your balance must also be paid in full in order to get a current transcript. Good luck!

Proctored exam time

This may not be a question but a comment.  I just sat for my proctored exam yesterday! However, I was shocked at the amount of time specified (1 hour) to take the Business Math exam. I am quite disappointed that such a short time is allotted to an all important course subject.  I just feel there should be more time allocated in future for doing a math exam as it requires calculations and problem-solving methods.  One-hour is just not sufficient time to do all that.  Time caught up so fast with some unanswered questions.  Disappointed.

If there is going to be a retake how soon should it be?

Normally, Study Guides are available online. But if you are getting it in the mail; it might take up to 7 to 10 business days to get your book. Hope this helps.

Hello, Kirsty!

 

In the event you should fail a Proctored Exam, you will be informed by Penn Foster if you will need to retake the exam. Not all students who fail a Proctored Exam need to retake the exam. You will receive a letter from the school indicating the status of your courses as soon as all of your Proctored Exams have been graded. If the overall grade of your course is passing, despite the failed Proctor Exam, you are not required to retake the exam. If the overall course grade is NOT passing, you are then required to retake the exam. It is your responsibility to contact Penn Foster when you are ready to retake the exam. Upon your request, the Proctored Exam retake will be sent out. Please contact the Proctor Department to have the retake ordered for shipment. Please note the highest grade possible on a Proctored Exam Retake is a score of 70. Should the grade of your Proctored Exam Retake not be high enough to give you a passing grade for the course, you would then need to complete a Replacement Course. Should this occur, you will be contacted by Penn Foster on how to proceed. -

Hi Amongthefur!  Maybe there was a mistake in the enrollment form you returned, it could have been for the traditional program with books, instead of the e-book program. Definitely have Student CARE look into it.

I keep having my drafting tests returned to me no matter how many times I turn them back in. I've been informed that along with the returns I'm supposed to get something telling me what the mistakes are that I need to correct, so it can be graded, but I never see it.

Hi EricBreaux, when you receive the test back are you able to click on it and open it? When you open it there should be notes from your instructor on your test.

Yes it should come with a view project file that you should be able to open and see your instructors comments.

Re: i enrolled in a webinar for my first exam for english 103 but know i dont see it anywhere in myt account it was supose to be this sunday a 6pm i guess i also need to ask how do you keep incontact with the teacher?

Dear Kevin,

I am the primary instructor for Information Literacy. There was no webinar on Sunday at 6PM. We generally do not do webinars on Sundays.

There was one on Saturday at 12 noon EDT.

Here is the link that shows all of the upcoming Information Literacy webinars. Once you register for a date you will receive an email with access directions and you will receive reminder emails as well.

When I signed up and paid for my first class,  I signed up for paralegals studies.  After signing into my student portal I find that the school has me signed up for "pc repair" not something I would have any interest in. This needs to be fixed ASAP so I can get started on my class work. You can reach me at my email address semessier62@gmail.com

 

Please advise and please don't send pc repair course study this is not my choose of study. My choose of study is paralegal course study.

Eric, the instructor feedback files for your last six projects indicate that they were all incomplete. The grader included some helpful information for some projects and for others you are advised to contact an instructor. Please click on the "View Project" buttons for each of the returned drawing assignments and download the instructor feedback. You should definitely contact an instructor if you have any questions.

You can call the instructors at 1-888-427-1000.

Or, you can send a message to the instructors from your student portal. To e-mail a question from your portal you should click on the "Help Center" link on the right side of the page, click on "Find Answers/Ask A Question", type anything into the search field and click on "Search", and then click on the "Ask a Question" tab. Fill out the form, selecting "Instructional Support" for the department, and submit it to the School. An instructor will reply as soon as possible.

Hello Beth, 

 

I checked with the College Department regarding this matter.  Unfortunately, there was an error in the system which changed you to receive the books via mail instead of on line.  We will have this correct.  However, we cannot change the Veterinary Office Management on line since it is showing it has been sent out.  You will have to wait for this subject to arrive.  The shipment was sent out June 16,2016.   I apologize for the inconvenience.
