Generally, it is by program and semester, and you have a scheduled amount of time to complete the program and/or semester. Call Student Care at 1-888-427-1000 to see if there are any exceptions. Good luck!

Re: Payments Please reply ASAP!
When you enroll in a program that is a contract and can be cancelled up to a certain time. The payment options are for convenience. Some are able to pay in full and others need the no interest monthly payment. Automatic payment debits your bank account, or a credit card on the same day each month. Some may not have access to a credit or debit card, or may prefer to mail payments each month from a payment book. It is a personal choice . You may be able to just take one class at a time and should call Student Care 1-888-427-1000 to check for options.
Re: help please
If you don't have access to a computer or tablet go to your local library for access on their computers. You can try to get textbooks for additional charges. Check with Student Care 1-888-427-1000. Good luck!
Re: In the English 100 study guide
Hi, you can contact an English instructor by phone or email. We are available by phone Monday through Friday, 9 am - 6 pm EST and can be reached at 1-888-427-1000. You can also send us an email via your student portal. Go to the Help Center and click on "Find An Answer/Ask A Question." You will need to first search for your question, but if you cannot find the answer, a new tab "Ask A Question" will appear. This form can be used to email any instructor.
It may also be helpful to check out the English & Writing space. We post new documents and answer questions there all the time.
Best of luck in your studies,
Rianna J.

Re: Summer classes (high school)
Hi ujeanybear! One of the great perks about Penn Foster is that the programs are self-paced. For the High School program, students are given 3 years to complete everything. So you can go forth with your plan with only doing school work during the summer and then take a break without having to withdraw. For your tuition, there is the option to pay your program in full or pay monthly.
Re: Hi, I was trying to enter and exam and it is not working...Help!
Hi Wendy MS WENDY M CASTILLO! Try looking over the Exam Issues FAQ. Do any of those apply to you?
Re: No Student Account Tab. How do I change my address?
They told me they do not have access to change my address on Chat. So I will have to call. Thank you.
Re: Summer classes (high school)
As long as you finish your program before it expires, you do not withdraw. You just work at your own pace. You may find you have some time during the rest of the year to work on a course. You are not locked in during that time, and you determine your schedule. Good luck!

You will have to pay for the semester or time period you are enrolled in if you cancel after the cancellation period.

Re: Course expired, see no extension option..
Hi Nikcielo,
Depending on your program and when your expiration date is, the option to do it yourself online is not always available. If the option is not there when you click on "Make a Payment", then you will have to call Student Care to request the extension. Student Care can be reached Monday-Friday 9AM-6Pm EST. The number is 888-427-1000.
Thanks!

Re: How do I change from Pharmacy Technician to Freelance Writer
Hi mmmbj1987!
I am sorry to hear that pharmacy tech isn't working out for you. I am happy to hear though that you know what you are passionate about and what you would like to do. In order to transfer programs, you will have to call Student Care and speak with one of the representatives and they will go over all of the information with you. Student Care is available Monday-Friday 9AM-6PM EST. The phone number is 888-427-1000.
Thanks!
Marie
Re: help please
Hi ehernandez!
Welcome to Penn Foster Since the majority of our programs are online only, you will have to complete most of your studies online. Our site is compatible with most devices, so you can use a computer, laptop or smart phone. If you don't have access to a device to log into your account, you can always go to the library to access your study materials. You do have the option to print out your study material, if you would like. Some students find it easier to print out the material, then when it comes time to take your exam, you can log in then. I wish you the best of luck with your studies, and I hope this was helpful!
Thanks,
Marie

Financial Accounting Course - Materials
I called Student Services earlier today to open Financial Accounting and send material. They stated that all materials are on line, however the study guide and assignments still reference reading in the textbook. There is NOT a link to an online text book. Any suggestions? Student services is closed.
Re: Changes in payment plan
Hi, Bethany:
Sorry about the confusion with your enrollment forms. The payment plan will change if you are carrying over a balance from one semester to the new semester. This amount varies from one student to the next, so we have to prepare the new enrollment form separately for each student as they move to a new semester. It would be best to call Student Care 1-888-427-1000 and speak to someone in the college department so they can go over the information with you.
Best Wishes
