I started the computer applications course and the first part of the course is the challenge examination form that you need to fill out and mail in, the second part is the computer applications challenge assessment and I am not understanding this exercise. can anyone please explain this to me! thank you!

I'm in the Computer Applications class as well.
The Challenge Assessment for the Computer Applications class allows you to prove to Penn Foster College that you already possess the skills and knowledge that you would otherwise get from the Computer Applications class.
There are two parts to the Assessment: the essay-type questions and the practical exercises. In the exercises you need to create certain documents using the instructions and files provided. If the instructions are unclear, it is best that you take the course rather than taking the Assessment.
The course teaches some advanced techniques for Word, Excel and PowerPoint and although I am ranked at the Intermediate Level at work (read: I know more than everyone-but-the-IT-staff) I am taking the course in order to learn more.

Good question.
Open your Study Unit. In the top right, you'll see a print icon, click it.
A small dialog box will appear. Enter the page range you wish to print.
You should be all set after that. Good luck with your studies!

From time of mailing, the standard for the postal service is two weeks. However geographic location does play a factor. Meaning if you are one state away from Pennsylvania (which is where Penn Foster's headquarters are located), then it most likely will take less time to get to you than someone who lives in Seattle Washington. Once your proctor receives the exam(s), you will have 3 weeks to complete them.

Did you get a hold of anyone yet? You can pay for the extension online too through your student portal page. To the left of the page there will be a list of links and will say "Make a Payment", that is where you can get your extension.

Program Expiration
Hi! I am in 2nd semester. My program expiration date is on May 6, 2016. I completed my first semester before time but this semester I am unable to complete my courses on time due to some personal reasons. Please help me out. I don't want my studies to stop. I have just to complete only English Composition lesson exams and it takes almost one week for the assignments grading. I can't really afford to pay for extension fee I am sorry, I know I should have completed the semester on time but I have been in tension.

You can call and talk to Student care to discuss options but usually the extension is the only choice. Remember you are only allowed two extensions for the duration of your complete program.
