If you don't have a more portable means to study, like a tablet, try to get one. I have a simple kindle fire. Very inexpensive. I have my adobe reader on it and I can read through and highlight through my study guide when I'm out in the living room with the family at the end of the night, or during break at work. I haven't been in a classroom in decades. Believe me, you are not the only one struggling with getting work done. It's been said. Take honest stock of  what holds you back and push forward with what works best for you.

When this alert pops up. Is it neccessary to go and actually do the study guides?

Is it necessary to do the Study Guides? Can I just test out and take and pass exams?

Re: What are some study tips for the proctor exams?

The proctors are worth 33% of the whole course grade. I have once got a 74% (which I consider a poor score) but I did really good on the lesson assignments so I still got an A in that course. So it all depends on how much assignments there is in a course and what specific grade you consider as poor.

In order to pass a proctored exam you need to get a C (70-79%) or higher and if you do pass you are not able to retake it. So just study and go over all the material and you should do good on your proctored exams.

Good luck! Wish you success!!

Hello petite82

PF assembles the Study Guide's to coincide with your studies. While it is not required for you to review the Study Guides, it is HIGHLY advisable, seeing that the Study Guide's are there to help you understand and retain the information you are studying.

Again, I wouldn't advise overlooking them, but that is your choice to make.

I hope this helps! Good Luck on your Journey & Much Success!

Where can I find the Life/work portfolio forms and information?

Some of the information in the study guides will only be found there. If you do not study the guides you will be missing out on information.

That is why you are not done with semester until those are graded and you have passed all your courses.

Not only do the study guides have valuable information, but many of them have instructions for many written assignments as well as Reading assignments. They also contain quizzes and sample tests that prepare you for exams. Now that you only have one opportunity to take a multiple choice exam to receive a high grade (a retake will only give you a passing grade), it is more important than ever to have as much information as possible. There are no short cuts to learning. Good luck!

Can I start taking one of the college programs if I have not finished paying for the high school program but have completed it?

Possibly. It will probably depend on if you have shown you have no problems making payments because you will then have 2 payments to make each month. Best thing to do is call Student Care

What works best for me is making a schedule for myself after work. I also make a checklist of what schoolwork I want to get accomplished each week. There is something satisfying about checking off things on a list. It helps me to see what I have done during the week and gives me that boost of motivation to continue whittling away my schoolwork.
