I am also currently a medical billing and coding student...
I do believe that a few specific ones do have to be completed in order to add "medical record history to them".
Please try and re-read the syllabus because I believe that there are 3 in particular....but the others are just to help you gain a working knowledge on how to enter the information in EMR/EHR...
In the Evolve "lab"simulation playground there are also the quizzes at the end of each data entry section that you must complete that weighs heavy on your grade.
