Hello!
The time when a proctored Exam can be taken depends on if the student has access to take the exam remotely or not. Taking the exam remotely means that the student will have access to the exam online and a web cam will act as the proctor. If students don't have access to the exams in this manner, then they will have to take the paper version of the exams, and they will have to wait until the end of the semester.
To check and see if you have access to an exam remotely, you can click on the "Take Exam" button for the proctored exam. You will either receive the remote proctoring option landing page, or you will receive a little note telling you that you don't have access to this exam remotely and that you have to finish the rest of your courses in order for your exams to be mailed out to your proctor.
You should be able to access some proctored exams remotely for this semester. Keep in mind that you may not have access to the remote exam for some of the other courses, and some courses may have a final project instead of a proctored exam.
I hope this information is helpful
