Identical missions?

I noticed this a long time ago but never asked. Since there are multiple missions with the exact same requirements how is it determined where you get credit?  Examples
Ice Cold Have 100 of your post marked correct--- I have 0% earned
Class President  Have 100 of your post marked correct--  I have earned it already and also am at 20% done at completing it again.
