Answer: On April 29, 2015, Penn Foster decided to settle a disputed matter with the Oregon Department of Justice. The Oregon Department of Justice did not find any wrongdoing by Penn Foster. {In regard to Penn Foster College’s accreditation and transfer credits}: Prior to enrollment, Penn Foster College informs students that NOT all colleges will accept transfer credits from Penn Foster. If a student intends to transfer Penn Foster credits to another institution, Penn Foster Collegestrongly recommends that the student confirms transferability of Penn Foster’s credits prior to enrolling in Penn Foster. Answer: Penn Foster High School, Career School and College are all accredited by the DEAC (Distance Education Accrediting Commission). Penn Foster Career School and High School are accredited by the Middle States Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools. The College is not accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.
