You may not be allowed to get credit to "skip" your Essential Computer Skills class if the class is too old. I aced a Computer Applications class years ago but it was deemed too old by Penn Foster College when I tried to get credit for it.
From what I've read elsewhere in the Student Community, the skills may help you in the Challenge Assessment.
